Municipal elections will take place on Tuesday, October 30 where residents will vote yellow ballot for mayor and white ballot for city council. The residents of Maccabim and Reut will vote in addition to those two ballots, for members of the Maccabim-Reut Committee with a blue ballot. Polls will be open between 07:00 and 22:00.

According to the city’s statistics, more than 60% (62,785) of the city’s residents are eligible to vote in the upcoming election. On Election Day, 103 polling stations will be open, including two in the new Tzipporim neighborhood. Fifty eight of the polling stations around the city will be accessible for residents with physical disabilities. Access to the polling stations will be done in schools, with the Iriyah creating ad hoc parking spaces for cars with disabled parking spaces and placing polling stations on the entrance level of the school, which would not require voters to use the stairs. In addition, residents with disabilities can vote by filling out a declaration, regardless of the polling station in which they are registered. This vote is similar to voting among soldiers and diplomats when the vote is made using a double envelope.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Interior, Nechalim is the neighborhood with the most residents eligible to vote, with 9,519 residents and followed by the Cramim neighborhood with 7,369 residents registered.

The largest polling stations in the city are three polling stations with the same number of registered voters of 786 residents, and will be in the schools: Chut Hashani, Re’im and Mesuat Neria.

A complete list of locations for all the various election sites is advertised on municipal billboards throughout the city, such as shopping centers, synagogues, clinics, etc. In addition, the list of election sites is published on the Iriyah’s website. A resident who has not yet received notice to the voter should check with the Ministry of Interior's website.

Election Day is currently defined as a vacation day by law and on this day the following will be closed:
