Registration for another housing lottery for 1,474 apartments in the Moreshet neighborhood in Modiin Maccabim Reut opened on September 3, 2017. At least 20% (289 apartments) of the apartments will be allocated for residents of the city. Anyone who did not transfer his address will not be considered a "native" and will not be able to enjoy the residents' preference. The lottery is only opened to those who qualify as “sedra alef” – young couples and those who received their eligibility certificates before August 2016. Registration for the lottery will close on September 18 and the results are expected to be announced on October 10.
