The new Moreshet neighborhood (Area P) will be built using green construction according to the Israeli standard for sustainable construction of Grade 1. This construction is less expensive and better for the environment as well as improves the quality of life of the residents. Other major cities in Israel including Tel Aviv, Haifa and Rishon Leziyon have also adopted the Israeli standard for green construction.
Apart from the fact that green construction is of a higher quality, it is good for residents’ health, increasing the value of the property and enabling a higher quality of life due to the climate comfort and savings in electricity and water expenses. According to various studies by the Israeli Council for Green Building and the Association of Builders, the investment in green construction produces monthly savings in electricity and water expenses for the tenant. The entire process will be accompanied by a green building consultant, from the planning stage of the project until obtaining the relevant approvals, which will be given by the department that provides certification and licensing for the Israeli green building standard.
