Rise in Number of Students in the City who Earned Matriculation Certificates

According to statistics released this week from the Ministry of Education, 84.6% of 12th grade students in 2013-14 who live in Modiin-Maccabim-Reut earned a Certificate of Matriculation (Teudat Bagrut).

This is the fifth year with a rise in the percentage of students earning matriculation, a 1.67% increase compared to last year's figure of 82.3%. The figure includes all students who live in the city including those who go to school outside the city. Modiin-Maccabim-Reut ranks 12th in the country.

Matriculation statistics for Modiin-Maccabim-Reut:

  • 67% of special education students are eligible for matriculation certificates.
  • 87.97% of students in the city (not including special education) qualified for matriculation certificates, 2.22% increase from last year.
  • 84.4% of students learning in high schools in the city qualified for matriculation certificates.
