Last week, the committee chose 13 pictures to advance to the final stage of the child-nature-city photo competition. The committee is made up of representatives from various municipal departments as well as representatives from the Society for Protection of Nature. Dozens of pictures were sent by the city’s students in grades one through 12. All the pictures were checked by the committee according to the criteria of the competition. This year, as opposed to previous years, the students were only allowed to submit one photo apiece.
Residents can vote on the Iriyah’s website from Sunday, March 3 until Tuesday, March 12. In addition, the photos will be directly accessible at the Moshe Schechter Public Library on Emek Dotan, where you can scan and select the best picture with the QR code. The exhibit will be open during the library’s regular hours. The competition has been very successful in previous years with thousands of residents voting.
