Ravit Varon will be taking over as principal of MOR High School in the fall. Varon has served as vice principal at MOR for the past six years. Among other things, she is responsible for the pedagogical continuum of grades 7-12, leading professional coordinators with an emphasis on implementing a "meaningful learning" program and leading multidisciplinary pedagogic collaborations and divisions.
As part of her role, she contributed to the school being awarded the National Education Prize in 2011 for pedagogy and the integration of values from the vision in the pedagogic work.
Galit Bar-El, the current principal, announced that she would be leaving MOR at the end of the year. This was after she was chosen to head the pedagogical program for Reshet Darca, an educational organization that works to develop schools in the periphery.
