The school year begins in one week, and the Municipal Economic Company has begun to install dozens of bus stops at different sites in the city. The decision to do so was made following a visit made by Israel's transportation minister, Poed Ben Aliezer, to Modiin, and 85% of the funding needed will come from the Ministry of Transportation. Professionals at the municipality decided where to place each bus stop based on the needs of the public transportation-using public, particularly senior citizens and school students.
The bus stops will be installed next to the caravans, on Emek Hahula across from the Modiin Mall, on Emek Zvulun next to the Municipal Pool, on Yehuda next to Reim Schools and the High School Yeshiva, on Yitzhak Rabin next to the Ulpana and Mesuot Niriyah, on Moshe Dayan next to Keshet School, on Emek Ayalon next to HaYoval School, on Yahalom next to the state religious school Avanei Chen, and at other similar locations.
