Road Closures Yom Haatzmaut 2018

The following streets will be closed for Yom Haatzmaut Events from 18:00 to 02:30 on Wednesday, April 18:

  • Emek Hahula (both sides) from Sharbat Center to Nahar Hayarden Street.
  • Emek Yizrael (eastern side) from the corner of Emek Hahula to the corner of Nahal Bezek.
  • Emek Yizrael (western side) from the corner of Emek Dotan to the corner of Emek Hahula.
  • Cars will not be able to leave Nahal Yarmuch Street in the direction of Emek Hahula Street.
  • The cross-streets of Emek Hahula near the amphi-park will be closed starting at 12:00.
  • No cars will be allowed from the roundabout at Nachal Chever and Nachal Tzalmon to Emek Hahula– residents of Nachal Tzin, Nachal Snir, Nachal Paran and Nachal Sorek enter by car only upon presentation of teudat zehut with updated address.
  • No cars will be allowed from Nahal Snir and Nahal Tzin in the direction of Emek Hahula.
  • Cars will not be able to park on Emek Yizrael Street (west) and the parking lot of the Ironi Bet Sports Hall because of fireworks - cars will be towed.
  • Entrance for cars of disabled people will be on Emek Hahula Street from the direction of Derech Yair Pereg until the Sharbat Center. From there entrance for parking will be allowed only with display of handicap tag. Handicap parking is on Emek Hahula Street between addresses 53 and 43. A viewing stand for people with disabilities will be set up on the western side of the amphi.
  • Rechov Nof Kedumim in Maccabim, between the lot behind Mercaz Rananim and the parking lot of the old commercial center will be closed to traffic between 19:00-23:00. The access road to Givat Habrushim from the direction of the security gate will be closed to traffic – from Nof Kedumim and Derech Harishonim until the old helipad.
  • No pets, no weapons and no bikes allowed.
  • No alcohol and no foam spray allowed.
  • There will be changes to public transportation between 18:00-02:30 – details on the Kaviim website or call *8787.
