New parking regulations in the center of the city will take effect at the end of November. Residents will be able to park free of charge in the municipal parking lots in the center of the city including Park Anabe and the two parking lots on Emek Zevulun across from Caffit. The parking lot by the municipal pool will remain open to the public.
Residents can enjoy free parking in the center of the city with a parking pass (sticker). In order to receive a parking pass, residents must fill out a form on the Iriyah’s website, the Iriyah app or at the post office. Residents must submit a copy of their teudat zehut and car registration or copy of approval from leasing office. Residents can pick up their parking pass within five days from the city’s Collections Department in the Azrieli Mall or receive it by registered mail to their homes during the month of November. The parking pass should be placed on the windshield, preferably the top right side.
The Iriyah will be posting guidelines in the parking lots with details about the new parking arrangements. The Iriyah noted that just like in other cities in Israel, payment for parking in parking lots can be made online using the "Pango" and "CelloPark" applications or through the device "EasyPark". Parking for non-residents will cost 2.81 NIS per hour. Every parking lot will have signs with all the details and instructions regarding the new regulations and pricing.
