The International Circus Festival returns to Modiin Maccabim Reut for the sixth year on Chol Hamoed Sukkot. The circus will be in the city Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (October 8-10). There will be changes in traffic patterns and road closures while the circus is in the city.
From Sunday, October 8 at 11:00 until Tuesday, October 10 at midnight: Emek Yizrael West between Emek Dotan and Emek Hahula will be closed for the entire three days of the festival.
The other road closures are as follows during the hours of 16:30-22:30:
- Emek Dotan (odd numbers) from Marlaz Center to the corner of (east) Emek Yizrael. Turn onto Nahal Iyun from Emek Dotan will be open.
- Emek Yizrael West (even numbers) between Holmes Place and Emek Hahula.
- Nahal Yarmuch – no entrance or exit from Emek Yizrael, only from Nahal Iyun.
- Emek Hahula North (even numbers) between the Amphi and the Fish Park will be closed when there are events in the area (between 21:30-19:00)
Parking and Shuttle Buses:
Parking in the festival area is forbidden - cars will be towed.
Parking is available on Emek Zevulun (gravel parking lot next to the pool). This year, parking is in the center of the city and on Emek Zevulun. Shuttle buses will leave from the bus stop near the parking lot on Emek Zevulun. They will operate all three days of the festival between 17:30 and 22:30. Return shuttle to the parking will be at the bus stop next to Heichal Hatarbut, 49 Emek Dotan.
