Late Night Bus Lines for Teens

Summer is around the corner and the late night bus lines will once again be running this summer. The project “Night Lines” was set up by the Transportation Office to provide public transportation in the late hours of the night during the summer months. Viola’s bus line #222 will run to and from the hangout places in Tel Aviv at regular bus prices. The bus will leave from the first roundabout in Reut, go through the roundabout in Maccabim and inside Modiin – Emek HaHula, the mall, Emek Zevulum, Emek Beit She’An, Rechov Dam HaMaccabim. The bus will enter Tel Aviv at the southern part at La Guardia, go past the hangouts on Allenby and from there cross Tel Aviv via Rechov Ben Yehuda and stop at nine other stops. The bus will end in the northern part of town via Dizengoff and Reading next to the Tel Aviv port and from there will return back to Modiin. The bus will leave Modiin at: 12:00 am, 1:00 am, 2:30 am & 3:15 am. The bus will return at 1:15 am, 2:15 am, 3:45 am and 4:30 am. Sundays-Thursday and Motzai Shabbat starting June 28. For further details please go to the Viola site The inner line called “Trempim” will operate Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last year the line only ran two nights. They will run from 11:00pm until 3:00 am and it is free for teens. It will leave once every hour from the Sports Hall on Rabin (Buchman), Reut roundabout, Maccabim roundabout, Emek Dotan (Moadon Noar), Ironi A Sports Hall, parking lot of Red Roof, 6 Emek Beit She’An (next to Asif school), Ironi Gimmel Sports Hall, Emek Zevulun, parking lot of Park Anabe and Yishpro Center.
