Bread Machine Challah

For those of you who have always aspired to bake fresh challot every week for Shabbat but…have not had the time, have been intimidated by the work or mess, I recommend a wonderful gift to yourselves: a bread machine. You will simply, easily and quickly have your Shabbat enhanced, uplifted and enriched by this delicious bread machine challah recipe!
1 cup warm water
4 tablespoons oil
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
4 1/2 cups of flour (may use half whole wheat flour)
2/3 cups sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
Place all ingredients in order into the basket of the machine. Make a well in the dry ingredients before putting in the yeast. After the yeast, close the door set it on the dough setting and walk away for around 1 ½ hours. When the dough is completed, mold it into the desired shape and let rise for 2-3 hours. Put an egg wash on top and then cook until golden brown
