Thousands of visitors are expected at Park Anabe over Shavuot and Minhelet Ofek is getting ready. Garbage bags will be distributed at the entrance to the park in order to keep the park clean during the holiday. This was done during Pesach and was very effective at keeping the park clean.
The sprinklers in the park will operate every day of the holiday between 10:00 and 20:00, for 30 minutes every hour on the hour. Children of all ages can enjoy the 19 cool jets of water that are illuminated in different colors during the evening. The park also has a play structure, shading, a walking path, benches, trees and water fountains.
The city’s inspectors and police will increase enforcement and presence in the park during the holiday, to maintain order and cleanliness. The Iriyah reminds residents that parking next to the park is free for residents but only if there is a parking sticker in the windshield. Non-residents must pay for parking, 2.8 shekels per hour.
