Likud Reaching out to Anglos in Advance of Upcoming National Elections
With national elections for the Knesset quickly approaching, the Likud party is working to reach out to the Anglo community, particularly in areas like Modiin. Through the work of Likud Anglos, a division of the campaign dedicated to enlisting the support of English speakers, a series of events and a media drive are taking place in advance of the February 10th election. In a recent press briefing for journalists who serve the English speaking public, Benny Begin, son of the famed Prime Minister and fifth on the Likud list, said his party should be viewed as particular interest to voters from the West who appreciate the value of longer lasting governments.
